We at Stewart Street Clinic take this issue very seriously and we adhere to the following very strictly:

– Disinfectant hand soap
– Gloves and face masks
– Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces
– Sterilization of all instruments by autoclaving before every use
– Disposable materials such as needles and burs are always utilized

We sterilize all reusable equipment, including dental hand pieces. We use an autoclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat, and pressure. Prior to autoclaving, all the instruments are cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner. Our sterilization process validation is carried out weekly using biologicalindicators, (ATTEST-3M ESPE)
