Radiographs allow us to see everything we cannot see with our own eyes. Radiographs enable us to detect cavities in between your teeth, determine bone level, and health of bone. We can also examine the roots and nerves of teeth, diagnose lesions such as cysts or tumors, as well as assess damage when trauma occurs.
Dental radiographs are invaluable aids in diagnosing, treating, and maintaining dental health. Exposure time for dental radiographs is minimal. We have installed two Belmont units in our surgery and common procedures carried out include vertical and horizontal bite-wings, periapical as well occlusal exposure views.
CEREC® stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. CEREC® is a new quick high tech system that restores teeth with a ceramic/porcelain material. CEREC® (see cereconline.com/) uses CAD-CAM technology whereby, once the tooth has been removed of decay and properly shaped, the tooth is 3-D digitally scanned.
With this digital laser scan, a precision replacement for the missing tooth structure is precisely milled from a special small porcelain block. This precision porcelain replacement of the missing tooth structure is then bonded into the tooth. The result is a natural looking tooth colored porcelain restoration that strengthens the tooth and the damaged tooth is repaired.
This CEREC® procedure is usually used for replacing large areas of a tooth where regular fillings would not be strong enough. We use Cerec InLab system and restorations are usually fabricated in a short time and most crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays can be fabricated and fitted the same day. Some bridges may take up to 36 hours to fabricate.
In our clinic we use the advanced and very popular Biolase lasers.
WaterLase uses a unique, powerful interaction of patented YSGG laser wavelength and proprietary water/air spray that cuts, etches and shapes target tissues without contact, heat, vibration or pressure.

Our practice uses Zeiss operating microscopes to enhance the precision of procedures we undertake during patient care.. Using a operating microscope enables us to create dental restorations with incredibility precise fit and finish.
This results in extraordinarily precise interfaces between your tooth and your new restoration (crown, veneer, or filling).
The operating microscope helps locate and view tooth structures during root canal procedures, making diagnosis of pathological conditions easier. In addition to allowing precise, close up work, the operating microscope directs a beam of light directly on the teeth, minimizing glare to you.
